Coronavirus (Covid 19) : Delivery Information

General Information
Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, Blue Crumb Truck has been able to continue on a "business as usual" basis. Overall, the UK postal service is running more or less normally. Non-UK residents are advised to allow at least a few extra days for delivery as a matter of course in Europe and to allow for delays of approximately 7 to 10 days in countries further afield. Although world-wide the situation has improved within the last few months.

Be assured, the situation is being monitored for each order received and you will be informed as soon as possible if there is likely to be a severe delay to the delivery of your order.

UK
In general post is more or less running normally. Some slight delays in some areas.

Europe
Some delivery delays may occur in some areas, in part due to the pandemic, and in part due to the new customs regulations post-Brexit. Countries with known delays are Belgium (due to flooding), Croatia (in some areas, due to recent earthquakes), Germany (Western Germany postcode areas 42XXX, 44XXX, 45XXX, 50XXX, 52XXX, 53XXX, 54XXX, 56XXX, 58XXX and 95XXX severely affected due to flooding), 
​​​​​​Italy (due to customs back logs), Luxembourg (due to flooding), and Spain.
You are advised to please check your individual country's situation via the UK Royal Mail's International Incident Bulletin here.

USA
Higher volumes of post than normal across the country, delivery delays can be expected. Delays of up to 7 days can be expected in the following states : Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin.

Canada
Some disruption due to precautionary Covid measures, also customs clearance is short-staffed which is adding to this issue. Delays of around 10 days in addition to normal delivery times can be expected. Items requiring a signature or customs payments will be delivered to nearby Post Offices with a card delivered to the addressee's mail box for collection within 15 days otherwise the item will be returned to sender.

Australia
Lockdowns, state border closures, restrictions on movement, self-isolation and limitations on air and other transport services are affecting the processing and delivery of all mail items. The states of Victoria and New South Wales, are worst affected,

I Am Customer In The EU, What Is The Situation With Brexit?

Our shipping is currently "Delivered Duty Unpaid". As of 01 January 2021, VAT, customs clearance charges and fees may be payable on items/goods entering the EU destination country from the UK. Such charges and fees depend on the contents’ value and origin. Your parcel will not be released until payment has been received. You, as the customer, are responsible for paying such fees.

How Do  I Collect Loyalty Points?

You can collect Loyalty Points with every purchase (excluding artwork). Loyalty Points are awarded when an order has been "Completed", i.e. when it has been shipped.

You will be shown the option to Create An Account after Checkout. You only need to add a Password to Create An Account. If you use PayPal for payment please make sure that you return to the store after completing your payment. Once you have an Account, you will earn Loyalty Points on every item purchased from your very first order onwards. These Loyalty Points can either be spent on your next purchase, or you can save them up over time and spend them later.


When you place your next order, you will be able to see how many existing Loyalty Points you have at Checkout. During Checkout you will be asked if you want to spend your existing Loyalty Points. You can spend all of your Points, or spend some Points and save the remainder. Or, you can save them all up and spend them on a future order. It is your choice!

Please note : Loyalty Points are only awarded on the value of items purchased, any shipping costs are excluded. Artwork purchases are exempt and are not included in the Loyalty Points scheme.

Loyalty Points are awarded to your Account when an order status is "Complete", i.e. when it has been shipped.

How Can I See How Many Loyalty Points I Have?

Log In to your Customer Account first.

(Go to the Top Blue coloured Bar on any page, look at the top right of the page, you will see "Log In". Click on "Log In". Enter your email address and Password, click on red "Log In" button).
Then click on "Your Account" on the blue bar.
On your Account page, look on the left, under the Welcome message and your name, you will see a note of how many Loyalty Points you have on your Account
.

How Much Are My Loyalty Points worth?

1 Loyalty Point = £0.02

How Do I Sign Up For The Newsletter?

Look at the bottom right of any page underneath "Newsletter" and you will see a white box.
Here is where you can Sign up (Subscribe) for news on special offers, new items and more!
Simply type in your email address and click on the red "Sign Up" box.
You will then receive an email to confirm your subscription.

Or, you can Sign up to the Newsletter during the Checkout process.

Or, you can email me <liz@bluecrumbtruck.com> with "Subscribe to Newsletter" in the Subject Header.

How Can I See Prices in £, Euro or $ ?

Go to the Top Blue coloured Bar on any page, look at the top right of the page, next to "Log In" is a pull down menu with 3 options  :

Choose from
GBP for UK Pounds Sterling (UK £)
EUR for Euro (€)
USD for US Dollars (US $)

You will then see all store prices listed in your chosen currency.
During the Checkout, prices will temporarily revert to UK £, but during Payment you will be able to pay in £, € or US$

How Can I Leave A Product Review?
 
Please go to the item you ordered which you would like to Review.
Below the product image, and alongside the "Product Description" tab is a 2nd tab  "Product Review".
Click on the "Product Review" tab.
Click on "Write an online review".
The "Write Your Own Review" page will appear.
Follow the instructions on-screen.
At the end click on the "Add Review" box.
(If you omit something, the page will prompt you.)
 
Your email address will not be shown and you do not need to use full details in Your Name and Your Location, something like your first name or a nickname and a general location such as "UK" will be ok.
 
There will be a short delay before your Review appears online.


How Can I Create A Wish List?

The Wish List feature is set up automatically for you when you Create An Account at the store.
Note : You must Create An Account before you can use this feature and you can only Create An Account when you purchase an item from the store.

How Can I Add An Item To My Wish List?

When you have an Account, go to the Top Blue coloured Bar on any page, look at the top right of the page, you will see "Log In". Log In.
The Top Blue coloured Bar will change to show "Welcome - Logout - Your Account".
Then browse the store. When viewing any item in the store, underneath the "Add To Cart" red button, you will see a red "Add To Wish List" button, click on this button and the item will be added to your Wish List.
You can even add "Out Of Stock" items to your Wish List.
Don't forget to select your required Size if you are adding an item of Clothing such as a T-shirt to your List!

How Can I See My Wish List?
How Can I Share My Wish List With Friends and Family?

When you have an Account, go to the Top Blue coloured Bar on any page, look at the top right of the page, you will see "Log In". Log In.
The Top Blue coloured Bar will change to show "Welcome - Logout - Your Account".
Click on "Your Account".
You will then see 5 sections including :
Your Wish List 
You can See Your Wish List here.
Look for the "Share" button, click on that and you will be able to copy a link so that you can Share Your Wish List with your family and friends.


How Do I Remove Items From My Wish List?

Purchasing an item does NOT remove it from your Wish List. You must manually remove any items from your Wish List.

What Happened To My Old Blue Crumb Truck Account?

Existing accounts were not transferred from the old Blue Crumb Truck store to this new system for reasons of security. If you are a previous customer from the old store,
your old Log In and Password will no longer work. You need to Create A new Account.

To Create An Account, you must make a purchase first, you cannot create an account until you have bought an item. Then at Checkout add your Name, Bill To Address (plus Ship To address if different) and your email address. After Checkout you will have the option to Create An Account, this simply involves the addition of a Password and clicking on the "Add additional information" button. Help! I Have Forgotten My Password

Click on "Log In"  (Top blue bar, right hand side) and a "Customer Login" box will appear.
Click on "Forgotten Password" , the "Request Password" page will now appear.
Type in your email address.
Then click on "Request Password" button.
That's it your Password will be sent to you in an email.
