Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect from you, the purpose for collecting the data, how we use, share, process, and manage your personal data, and your rights associated with your data.

 

The Data we Collect and Use

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide us when you Subscribe to receive the BCT Newsletter by email. This is so that we can ensure Subscribers will receive the BCT Newsletter regularly. This personal data may include contact details such as your name and email address, previous or subsequent email address changes and the date you originally Subscribed.

How We Use Your Data

To respond to your requests or to manage your Subscription, for example, to send you the Newsletter, or to attempt to contact a Subscriber if the Newsletter has been returned in order to ascertain whether the  provided email address is still valid. We use the UK based Email Blaster marketing newsletter system. The Newsletter contains a small piece of code known as a cookie that logs events such as when you view or click on content in the Newsletter and also your location, IP address, browser and type of device used.

 

How We Share Data

We have never and will never sell your personal data to anyone else.
We do not share your personal data with anyone else, except Email Blaster, a UK based email marketing company that we use to send out the Newsletters. We require that Email Blaster agrees to maintain the confidentiality, security and integrity of such data.

Security Of Your Data

We are committed to protecting the security of your personal data and protecting it from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. All computers, servers and hosting for the Blue Crumb Truck store site and for the Newsletters are based in the UK.

 

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as you remain a Subscriber and/or where there is a reasonable business need to retain such data. i.e .in order to send you the Newsletter.

As a data controller, Blue Crumb Truck collects data and shares it with the data processor and marketing partner, Email Blaster, in the following ways:
In order to host, enable and support the Newsletter service.
In order to use the analytics platforms at Email Blaster to better understand user behaviour and in order to provide a better service to our Subscribers.

Changes To The Privacy Policy (Newsletter)

This Privacy Policy for the Newsletter is effective as of May 24th, 2018. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. We do not undertake to provide you with personal notice of any changes. In the event of material changes, we will provide notice by means that are reasonable under the circumstances, such as by posting a notice on the store site and/or via the Newsletter. Your continued use of the Blue Crumb Truck store site and BCT Newsletter following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy means you accept those changes.
